We are powerful co-creators of our own reality. Learning to look at ourselves and the world around us through appreciative eyes allows us to create our reality by shaping the story we tell ourselves. Gratitude is a "habit of the heart". The daily practice of gratitude keeps our heart open, even in times of difficulty. Gratitude does not mean all is perfect or we must give thanks for what is good in our life. The real power and skill comes from the ability to say thanks for everything in our lives whether we feel grateful or not! Appreciating life is being able to firmly plant our feet in our present reality and from this place having the power to step forward into a slightly better future.
