Can a life coach help Survivors? Post 2 of 3.

Transformation is possible. (Post 2 of 3.)

Is transformation possible?

I believe it is.

It was clear to me that there were missing pieces after my cancer treatment: lack of tools, information, and understanding .

I wonder how different those 17 years could have been if I had then, what I do now?

Getting pulled into the past is not worth the energy.

In the present I am an Integrated Life Coach using my personal, professional and educational experience to help cancer survivors rise to a higher level of functioning. There is so much power in survivorship. According to the National Cancer Institute there are 16.9 million cancer survivors in the United States alone. Equal to the population of New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island combined!! This represents 5% of the population of the United States. And the number of cancer survivors is projected to increase by 29.1%, to 21.7 million by 2029.

Think about that.

Think about the potential if we, the survivors -- the ones that went to the edge and understand life is precious and meant to be lived fully – what if we take this second chance as an opportunity to really be alive? How would it feel to live authentically from an empowered place? Think of the potential if we learn how to do this and then are able to share this gift with our loved ones, who then begin to make shifts in their own life. The ripple of transformation is magnificent.

So maybe the question should be: How is transformation possible?

The answer is you need a guide and maybe even a community. This work is not meant to be done in the vacuum of you.
